Funeral for Jadie Kyle Letson, 75, of Town Creek, will be Monday, May 19, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Parkway Funeral Home Chapel with Barry Phillips officiating. Interment will be in Moulton Memory Gardens. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Letson, who died May 16, 2014, at ECM Hospital was born June 22, 1938, in Lawrence County to Jadie and Clara Letson. He was retired from Yellow Freight and was a retired member of Teamster Local 402. He attended Town Creek Church of Christ and enjoyed fishing and hunting. Mr. Letson was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Edith Blaxton; brothers, Bishop Letson, Grady Letson, Hollis Letson, Winford Letson; and mother of his children, Lavern Letson.

Survivors include a son, Anthony Kyle Letson (April); daughters, Melissa Letson Pitt (Andy) and Teresa Letson Groves (Mike); grandchildren, Ashley Thomas (Bryson), Tiffany Vick (Michael), Hadley Groves, Kylie Jo Letson; great-grandchildren, Zoey Davis, Zeke Davis, Alice Vick; friend and caretaker, Cynthia Bentley.

Pallbearers will be Loyd Letson, Andy Letson, Bo Letson, Hadley Groves, Clark Letson, Michael Vick, Bryson Thomas, Anthony Letson, Andy Pitt, Jerry Letson and Jerry Letson of Mississippi.

Dear Letson Family, So sorry for you loss. I remember Jadie as A nice man and co-worker wirh my husband D. Zahnd at Yellow. jadie was a pallbearer for Donald 16yrs ago.Sure He will be missed.Robbie Owens Zahnd.

Jadie was a good friend and a Brother in Christ. He will be sorely missed. Our sympathy is extended to all those who loved Jadie.
