Not sure what to say?

Such a sad day today. My husband was online and said Jaime passed away in 2018. My heart hurts to hear this. Hoping Shirley and the girls are well. Jaime hired me as his Creative Director back in the 80's. He was the kindest, funniest, nicest person I have ever known. There is a hole in the earth without him. Goodbye my friend. No one can replace you. P.s. I too came from NYC and The Bronx and Portland and Marin. Our paths crossed often.

I worked with Gretchen, manager of Dan Hicks in San Francisco. It was wonderful to be around Jaime. Such a beautiful person. I married a Jazz bass player later. (formerly) Cya

Shirley, recently Alan was watching the movie Paint Your Wagon and recalled that Jaime was an extra in the movie. He decided to google Jaime, see what he was up to now, and found his obituary. I’m so saddened to hear this news, always remember Jaime for his laugh! Hope you and your family are well, comfort in many happy memories.

I'll never forget the good time we had in your house in San Francisco back in the 70s, remember sleeping in the coach in your living room many times , Marianne Price and John Girdon were living downstairs .

His junior year

Thank you for going to the Sadie Hawkins dance with me at Washington High School. The alums will miss you.

High School friend. We will miss you.

Ive known Jaime since the 4th grade, when we attended Buckman Elementary School in S.E. Portland and for a short time our fathers did business together. Back then Jamies father was in the garment business but he was also an actor. My father was a tailor and altered the pants that Bernie, Jamie s father, brought to my Dads shop.

Jamie came from a politically active leftist family and I recall that everyone played a musical instrument. In high school Jaime was a Beatnick and wore...

I was sorry to hear about this. I met Jaime when he married my long time friend Shirley. He was a very nice and creative man who raised 2 lovely daughters. Shirley, my deep sympathy to you and the girls. May you find peace and comfort.

I knew Jamie in that golden time of original hippydom in SF, 1965-6. I have kept memories of being part of the scene with him, and was grateful for his ability to show up for me. I enjoyed reconnecting with him on FB for the past few years. Condolences to the family. He was unique, caring, talented and a real mensch. I'm glad we were friends back in the day. He really made a difference.
