Not sure what to say?

Beloved friend, co-counselor, humanitarian, and the one who was a delight to be around many years ago . We worked at Patrick House in the 70's and stayed in touch. Miss you and your place here helping others as it was your life's work. Rest In Peace till resurrection day when God will bestow your reward. Proud to have known you. Thank you family and friends for sharing him. God bless you all. Deborah Royce.

Jaimie and I worked for the mayors council on drug addiction in the mid 70's at Jersey city medical center. I enjoyed his interaction with fellow staff members as well as our clientele. I learned tremendously from these interactions. Truly God used him in a most psignificant way. Truly he will be missed ,but his legacy lives on.

Jaime Vazquez you will always be remembered for all your great contributions to this city. May you rest in peace.

I have fond a fond memory of meeting with Mr. Vazquez at his office in City Hall to discuss veteran affairs and the need to better outreach to our state's Hispanic veteran community. He was the most passionate advocate, who not only talked the talk; he certainly walked the walk. May his memory forever be a blessing to all those who loved and knew him.

Dedicated board member of the Puerto Rican Congress of NJ for many years, past Chairman of the Board. Had the distinct honor of serving with him. Admired his dedication and commitment to his community. May he rest in peace.

Today I was contacted by a friend of ours Jaime, Tony Biosca! Another tear and a chill. Friends never die they live in our memories just like it was yesterday. Yes Tony it is me, Joanie Trochan..I have no way to contact you!

We were friends for four decades; we disagreed on a few things [about which we invariably joked], yet, he was always the gentleman and so friendly and respectful. He was a true person of the people.
He will be missed.

My deepest sympathies to the Vasquez family. He was an outstanding man who fought for others and he gave them a voice. May God comfort your family in their hour of need. God speed my friend and with your wings soar the heavens but keep a watchful eye over your family. I want to say thank you for being the man for the people, You are truly a hero. RIP Jamie you have earned it. I am sure they have a Sir John's up in heaven so save me a seat. God bless you and thank you.

I was so shocked and saddened to hear the passing of my dear friend and brother, I too agree with what Ms. Joan has written. I also lived in the projects and remember the first day you ran for Councilman. May you rest in peace and God Bless You.
