Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to learn of Jimmy´s passing. He and Susan were so kind to me in the late 1970s and early 1980s as I struggled through professional and personal difficulties. Jimmy in particular encouraged me and was a sage advisor in the early days of my company, Orbital Sciences Corp (later Orbital ATK, now part of Northrop Grumman). He was a wonderful person with a brilliant mind and a big heart. He will be sorely missed.

I first met Jimmy Wu In 1964 at the entrance door of the Guggenheim building on CalTech Campus. He introduced himself as a Chinese student who just passed the PhD oral examination, a notoriously difficult test where many students failed. I replied that I came from Japan to study at CalTech. I worked with Dr. SUSAN WU at UTSI back in the 70's and she was a great lady. DR Jimmy would come by often to say hello. 2 great people. PAULA REED

My time with Dr. Jimmy at UTSI was some of the best time of my life! He and Susan were very special people and I will never forget them.

I had the distinct pleasure of being a member of the UTSI Gas Dynamics group in 1975-77. I had not intended to go to grad school, but there were no aerospace jobs in 1975. Nor could I expect financial support from my folks, since I was oldest of six. But, the Lord works in mysterious ways. An RPI classmate, Carmen Lucci (may God rest her soul), told me about UTSI, where she was going as an Air Force officer. All grad campus, small classes, on a lake, next to AEDC, beautiful country, AND I...

Your dad (and mom) are grealy missed. What an incredible life they had! May your hearts be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived.

Dr. Jimmy Wu, we will miss you dearly. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

The entire Ding How family sends their love and deepest condolences to the Wu family during this time of mourning. Jimmy truly was one-of-a-kind and we will miss him dearly.

What a beautiful legacy he left as "teacher" for his family. I am very sorry for your unfortunate loss. I wish I had known him.
