Not sure what to say?

Dear Patti, Jackie and Darren,
Our sincere condolences for the loss of your father to you and your families.
We will remember him and your mother dearly with all our fond memories of the good times we had together in both New York and Florida.
I'll always wear a smile with thoughts of the Happy Hour Drink and Food Specials, Shopping Excursions, Beach Strolls, Night Life Fun, etc. Jake was the best resource for it all no matter what state you were in:)
May your memories stay...

To Jakes family,
I really thought so much of your dad as he and my grandpa were roommates at Ideal and we spent many a night talking back and forth and sharing the candy corn that they both loved so much. My grandpa passed in August and I had not seen your dad since then, I thought of him often. May God bless you all.

Jake tops my list of most unforgetable characters. He made the workplace a lot more enjoyable with his keen wit. I'll always remember the best dressed IBMer.
Rest in peace Jake.

Darren and Jack, I'm sorry to hear of the passing of your Dad. Our prayers are with you, especially during this holiday season. Darren, let's try to get together when you get back. God Bless you and your family.

PAT, JACK AND DARREN -- I AM VERY SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR DAD'S PASSING. IT IS THE END OF AN ERA FOR SURE. HE AND ED WERE QUITE THE DUO AND THEY HAD A LOT OF GOOD TIMES TOGETHER....NOW THEY CAN TAKE CARE OF THE CASH IN HEAVEN. ALWAYS REMEMBER THE GOOD TIMES WHEN YOU REMEMBER YOUR DAD. GOD BLESS....CARLA

I am sorry for your loss. My father-in law also died from with the same problem so I know how hard it was for both he and you. I had many good times with Jake and Ed Lavin when we worked the Cash Cage in the mid 70s.

I remember working 3rd shift at Ideal Senior Living Center and having Jake not realize the time and come to the office and have a small chat with me. He was a nice man. A smile is what Jake and I were always able to share. Thank You. May God Bless You!

WITH OUR DEEPEST SYMPATHY TO OUR FRIEND AND SUPERIOR SALESPERSON. ALSO FRIENDS OF THE FAMILY FOR OVER 75 YEARS. I AM SURE SPECIAL CLOTHES WILL BE READY FOR HIM IN HIS TRAVELS,

Dear Patti, Jack and Darren:
The summer of 1974 when I worked with Jake was one of the most fun summers I ever had. Your Dad always remarked how lucky I was to be able to work with him and Ed and "get paid, too." (The going rate was $2.00 an hour then for summer students!) I so enjoyed our lunches and happy hours with Ed Lavin and I have fond memories of Jake, Nikki, Bob and Anne visiting us in Canada. Your parents were very special people and it's comforting to know they are together...
