Not sure what to say?

We are very saddened to hear of Jake Berthot's passing. What treasures he has left behind for the world to cherish and enjoy. Thank you, Nina Nielsen and John Baker, for introducing us to Berthot's work. We are enormously grateful for the three Berthots were are fortunate enough to have. We don't own them. We are merely their caretakers until we pass them along to a museum so that many others can learn and grow from them.

Bereaved loved ones can be assured that your loved one is asleep in death with the prospect of being awakened.

Our first sight of Jake's work was his 70's painting Trundle's Door Later, meeting Jake in NYC and playing "painting Charades" inspired by some Fosters beer made for a fun evening. We thank Betty for helping us acquire Jake's work and we wil treasure it having known this wonderful artist. He will be missed. Our sympathy to Jake's family and friends.
