Dear Laurie Ann and Tim, my sincerest sympathies. Words are never adequate at times such as these. One of my children had a potentially fatal medical condition at age 14, and so, I have a partial understanding of your situation. I’ve always found that faith was very helpful at such times.

Your son sounds like a fine young man! Remember him during the good times, and he’ll always be with you.

My son Jonathan is in the 5th grade at Bell Creek. He remembers Jake a lot from Baseball with his ORANGE baseball bat. Our family wants you to know that you will be in our thoughts and prayers and hope that you somehow find comfort in these difficult times.

Dear Tim, Laurie and family,
We send our love and prayers your way on behalf of the little sweetheart known as Jake. He was in Mrs. Ellinger's class with Griffin last year so we got to know his wonderful sense of humor and his spunky personality. He was such a bright star and will continue to be so...a true inspiration for us all.
