What a remarkable legacy for all of us Hatcher men to live up too. This man's life should be a Hallmark movie and I would be the first investor. Thanks for allowing me to play in the apple orchards and hunt. The rocks you painted are displayed in my home and a topic of discussion by visitor's.

Jake was a very special man. Jake and I both worked at the Welfare Department years ago. He was always
smiling and upbeat. I always knew him to be a kind, caring person. I send the family my condolences at this
very difficult time. Sincerely, Dorothy Kinser Chudina

Jake was one of the finest men I've ever known. He was my first supervisor following graduation from Concord and employment by the West Virginia Department of Welfare (West Virginia Department of
Human Services). He will be truly missed by everyone who knew him.

Sending condolences. I am the niece of Willie and Sarah Lou Hatcher Butler. Willie also sends condolences. I remember seeing Jake several years back. He gave us all some painted rocks that we still have. A wonderful soul!

Jake was definitely "one of a kind". A Princeton icon. I got to know him first when I worked at RSVP and later at CASE. watching parades will never be the same without "Uncle Sam". He will be missed for a long time. RIP Rock man.
