Read MoreThis is sad news. I have such fond memories of Jake. What a gentle soul. I guess my initial reaction is that he was a person you liked being around. Some people are fine to be around, some people make others uncomfortable, my gut recollection of Jake was that he was always someone you wanted to be around, the type of person that drew you in. I remember Jake as a very good football player on a team I helped coach at West High School in the mid-1980´s. His energy and enthusiasm was memorable and welcome, and I can picture his blond hair and big smile.
