I moved to your neighborhood last year and got the email of the loss of your dear son, Jake. My heart aches for your pain, as we too, lost our 24 yr old son over a yr ago. May you find strength daily, lean on friends, seek some joy daily and smile with the precious memories and love shared with Jake. In my prayers for peace of heart and healing for all that knew Jake.

I've known Jake since he was 9 by going to his family's restaurant and me and my husband went once, twice, even 3 times a week at times. We became good friends when we learned that we both love motorcycles and we even rode together. Jake, like me, could talk about motorcycles for hours. I was devastated when I heard the tragic news. I did not know Jake personally, but he was my daughter's age, and he was a friend to some of my daughter's friends. I noticed him first at Pablos. He was always so friendly and he had a sweet spirit about him. My heart hurts for your loss, but I think our loss is truly heaven's gain. I do think God calls some of us home to spare us from the pain and suffering on earth. Jake was is a precious child of both yours and God's.
