Jake never failed to make me smile. I was lucky enough to work with him for years and it was a pleasure every time. No matter how long a road trip, how tough a show, Jake was always a bright light and a breath of fresh air. His positive attitude is what I´ll remember most.

Took a red-eye with Jake back from Edmonton on Feb 28. Hadnt seen him in years and now in hindsight am so glad i got to catch up one last time. He told me he was going to need another transplant, and i said "that sucks" or something to that effect. And he took the attitude of "hey i´ve had these lungs for 13 years with no issues - what more can i ask for?" which was impressive and a great attitude.
