Jala K. Cable, 62, passed away on August 3, 2018 at her home in Fort Wayne with her family by her side. She was the daughter of Patricia (Jones) Andrus and the late Donnie Andrus. She enjoyed all types of music, dancing, feeding her hummingbirds, playing softball, and bowling. She especially loved children and cherished all her friends who adored her as well.

She is survived by her sons, Leroy (Kayla) Cable III of Fort Wayne and Alan (Raquel) Kunkel of Fort Lauderdale; siblings Steve (Janell) Cable and Beverly (Mike) Frederick, both of New Haven; three grandchildren; and her beloved cat, Moxxi. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Cable II in 2001.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Visiting Nurse of Fort Wayne and Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.

I have some very funny memories of Jala from High school. Such a fun loving woman. I know she will be missed.
