Jamarco Mitchell taught me to not fear young people, but to simply love and respect them, no matter the circumstances in their lives. Jamarco called me "Mom" and always told me he loved me. The last time I saw him, I said "come here and give your mom a hug!" He was so proud of himself and told me he was working. His heart was good and I knew he had been loved and raised the right way. I never knew anything more about him. Never knew his last name. Never met his mother. Never met his family....
