Read MoreJim and I were in the same homeroom (12-8) at Treadwell High so I have known him for many years. He was a fine upstanding man who I am so sorry for his loss. He was the one who always, along with several others, arranged our Treadwell runions every 5 years. A lot of folks are going to miss him.

Sad to hear about uncle Jimmy. I always enjoyed my times with him when I lived in Memphis or visited there. Same with my phone calls/ chats, he always had funny lines. Gone but Not forgotten. God Bless

I've known Jim Duke since high school at Treadwell. He was Jimmy back then. He was a member of a monthly lunch group of fellow Treadwell graduates that I am part of. He always had a smile, a laugh, a story or a memory. My wife got to know Jim as a fellow Crye-Leike real estate agent. As she told me, "Everyone knows Jim Duke!" He will be missed...really missed! But I know I will see Jim again in Heaven when God calls me home someday.
