HOGAN, James "Ken" - Of Grand Blanc, age 91, died Monday, April 12, 2021 at home with his loving family present.
Funeral service will be held 12 Noon Friday, April 16, 2021 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Reverend Lindsay Carnes officiating.
Burial in Flint Memorial Park.
Contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice.
Visitation 11am-12pm Friday at the funeral home.
James was born in Flint, Michigan on November 5, 1929, the son of the late James L. and Alberta F. (Smith) Hogan. On September 6, 1954, he married Evelyn L. Rose at First Presbyterian Church in Flint. He was a member of the American Legion and Kirkridge Presbyterian Church. He was a proud grandpa and a great-grand father.
Surviving are children, Kathy Thomas, Michael (Sandra Robins) Hogan, and Irene (Michael) Tacey;
Grandchildren, Jeremy Hogan, Marshall (Rebecca) Hogan, Katie (Zach) Throop, and Aaron (Samantha) Tacey;
Great-grandchildren, Elyana Hogan, Valerie Hogan, Wyatt Throop, and one on the way, Rosalie Throop.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn L. and sister, Jacqueline Hatfield.
