Mr. Abernethy rented me his house for a few years and was one of the nicest people you could know. He enjoyed making toys out of wood for underprivilidged children and was genuinely a great person. I went and saw him after leaving the rental and got to talk with him for a little while. I know he loved his bird, which brought him great joy. He will be missed dearly.
