Not sure what to say?

Jim saw that the elastic on my scrimshaw bracelet was stretched out, so he took it home and replaced the elastic. Every time I see the upside-down tile, I think of Jim and smile. What a nice guy!

To the Abler family, sorry for your loss, may GOD give you his LOVE, PEACE, and STRENGTH in this time of sorrow. I want to thank him for serivng his country to keep us SAFE and FREE. May he R.I.P <3

Jim was my first boss when I was entering the "working world" with the City of Palo Alto in 1985. One of the first things he taught me (and he taught me a lot of things) was to treat people with honesty and integrity - something I try to do everyday in my current job

And when my Inuit ivory/mastodon scrimshaw bracelet broke, he took the time to string elastic through each piece to put it together again. One piece, a scrimshaw seal, was put in upside down, and each time I wear the...

I was very blessed to have know Grandpa Abler. I had met him when he would come to pick up his 2 grandkids from my daycare.I have never met anybody so excited to see their grandkids like Grandpa Abler did........he truly loved Haley & Jamie! He will be deeply missed and will always remember him for what a wonderful man he was. I am sorry for your loss and pray that the Lord will give you the strength to be strong during this difficult time.

Justin, my condolences to you and your family. He was a great man!

I worked with Jim at the City of Palo Alto, Public Works Department. Everyone loved Jim - such a nice man, always ready to help people, always with a smile. We are all sad to hear the news.
