Not sure what to say?

Please accept my deepest sympathy for the loss of Jim . We went to ESSC together & he will always be remembered as a great friend & person. We always called him Ack & I still have the wedding gift he gave my wife & I almost 46 years ago. Each time we look at it we think of him. He will be missed . Rest in peace Ack .

My deepest condolences to Jim´s family and friends and all the students´ lives he has touched at WAHS throughout the years... His heart was always canary and blue and his dedication to student advancement was noticed by all. My friendship with Jim ties back from both graduating from WAHS, ESSC, both teaching at WAHS and finally working together in the Health/Science Academy. I will always cherish our friendship and great memories as he was truly a dedicated professional in his Social Studies...

Jim, you were a special friend, and we have many great memories of so much time spent together. The highlights were the many Jambalaya Jams at Penn's Landing, the Phillies games, and the first Brian Wilson show at the State Theater. But the best thing was just hanging out at Ringer's, having fun together every weekend, and enjoying all the music you gave to us. We always remember those times, and now every weekend will be a Weekend at Ackley's! We love you.

I had the pleasure of working with Jim at WAHS for 33 years. He was always a staunch advocate for Allen High students and a advocate for a strong social studies department. As a peer I enjoyed his friendship and, as department chair, his support. He has passed from this life far too soon.

I always enjoyed seeing Jim in the cafeteria on many occasions at Allen High School. He was a friend for many years. Rest In Peace My Friend Tom Boyer

So sad to hear about Jim. He was one of the famed Budman at ESSC from 1970-1974. A group of friends that went way past our years in college. Nick named " The Rat" he was a great friend and brother. Many happy memories of our days together.

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

My deepest condolences to his family and friends. Mr. Ackley was a teacher of mine in the late 70's. He had quite the sense of humor and will always be remembered.

Very sorry to hear of Jim´s passing. We had lots of fun back in the eighty´s, baseball games, golfing and at the Goodwill Fire Company. RIP
