James Harrison Adams, Jr., 72, of Winchester, Virginia, died
Monday, August 28, 2006, in Winchester Medical Center.
Mr. Adams was born November 29 , 1933, in Frederick County,
Virginia, the son of the late James Harrison and Orrah Selena Bayliss
Adams, Sr. He was the retired owner of Winchester Feed & Seed and owner
of Hardway Farm. He was a member of Gainesboro United Methodist Church,
Gainesboro, Virginia, and Winchester Moose Lodge #1283. Mr. Adams was a
graduate of James Wood High School class of 1952.
He married Bernadine Seabright on January 20, 1962, in
Winchester, Virginia.
Surviving with his wife of forty-four years, are two daughters,
Glenda Kaiser and her husband Gary, of Gainesboro, Virginia, Teresa
Larrick and her husband Fred, of Frederick County, Virginia, two sons,
Harry Seabright Smith and his wife Debbie, Michael Walsh Smith and his
wife Pamela, all of Winchester, Virginia; six grandchildren, Kristi
Hall, Kevin Kaiser, Stephanie Turner, Ashley Smith, Justin Smith,
Matthew Smith; three great grandchildren, Kora, Kobe and Jared Hall;
four sisters, Patricia "Susie" McDonald, of Gainesboro, Virginia, Mary
Ann Blye, of Mount Solemn, Virginia, Ruth Marie Moore, Elizabeth "Betsy"
Sirbaugh, one brother, Charles Dean Adams, all of Gainesboro, Virginia;
and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be private.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening, from
7:00-9:00 PM, at Omps Funeral Home, Amherst Chapel.

Virginia, 22601.
