Our deepest sympathies and prayers are with Jimmy's family and loved ones. Jimmy was one of the very first people that I made friends with at GHQ in 1992 and we remain in touch via text and cards ever since. To the Aitken Family, I am so sorry for your loss. Jim was a great guy who was dedicated to both his job and family. He had a strong work ethic and would never shy away from doing the hard work. Over the years we developed a friendship which carried into retirement talking about many things but mostly our families. Even when he was in pain, he never complained and always took the time to ask about me. I spoke with him a few days ago and he didn't let on about how advanced his illness...
