Alabach, James "Jim," baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection, Saturday, September 13, 2014.

Beloved husband of 53 years to Mary Alabach (nee Haugh). Loving father of Anne, Dan, Jim (Melissa) and Steve (Nikki) Alabach, Ellen (Loren) Goodman and Tom Alabach. Dearest grandfather of Logan & Tyler Alabach and Natalie Goodman. Son of the late James and Rafilia Alabach. Dear brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Jim proudly served with the Army in Korea.

Jim began his insurance career with the Maryland Casualty Company, leaving as the manager of the Casualty Department. Thereafter he started the Alabach Insurance Agency in Chesterfield, Mo and retired in 2005.

Services: Funeral from the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, 14960 Manchester Road at Holloway, Ballwin, Tuesday, 8:30 a.m. to Ascension Catholic Church, Chesterfield, for 9:00 a.m. Mass. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to National Kidney Foundation or Cardinal Glennon Children's Medical Center. Jackie & I are so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. You guys are our neighbors and friends for some 37 years and Jim's will be missed.

Jim was a "prince" of a guy. He always made you feel welcome and was a hell of an Insurance Man. My condolences to all. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Jim will be missed by all who knew him.
