Margie, Jimmy and Kim,
Mike and I were so sorry to hear about your loss. We were out of town and wanted you to know our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I didn't know Mr. Alexander well but his wonderful reputation through the years is well known in Knoxville and won't be forgotten.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of our dear friend Nutty Buddy, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

MY WIFE AND I WERE DEEPLY SADDENED TO LEARN OF JIM'S DEATH . WE WERE FRIENDS IN COLLEGE WITH JIM AND MARGIE AND JIM AND I WERE FRIENDS AND BASKETBALL AND FOOTBALL TEAM MEMBERS AT BENEDICTINE HIGH SCHOOL IN RICHMOND, VA. I DID NOT PLAY BASEBALL BUT JIM DID AND WAS AVERY GOOD PITCHER . AT BENEDICTINE , HE WAS QUITE ACTIVE, WELL LIKED AND A HIGH RANKING OFFICER IN THE CADET CORPS . WE HAVE MANY GOOD MEMORIES AND OUR LOVE AND GOD'S LOVE BE WITH MARGIE AND ALL FAMILY MEMBERS IN YOUR TIME OF GRIEF....

So sorry to hear about Jim's passing. Kay's Ice Cream was my first full time job out of high school. Jim and Jimmy were at the helm and always had kind words of encouragement. Jim will be missed.

Jim was a fine gentleman who always had a kind word for all. I always enjoyed seeing him, especially at SHPC, where he seemed so at home. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
