Not sure what to say?

You perked up many an ear & mind to the workings of modern harmony. Thank you for the inspiration & love of your craft! Your music keeps eternal,Jimmy.

We are so sorry to hear about the loss of Jimmy Amadie, a musical treasure and a very special individual. We feel honored to have spent time with him. Our sincere condolences to Lucille and the Amadie family. Rest In Peace Jimmy.

Jimmy was a dear friend & inspiration to myself & my dear husband. He will be missed. Sleep well in God's arms.

Maestro Amadie unlocked the secrets of Jazz Improvisation for me during the lessons he conducted in his home more the 50 years ago. He was beloved by my mother, Santina Mosca LPN, who worked for a doctor at 6th & Erie. He was an important mentor to me and I mourn his passing.

A light has been extinguished. And the world is darker for it. But, blessedly, his music remains...

So sorry for your loss take encouragement and strength from the God of all comfort 1Cor. 1:3,4 .

Take Care.

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Amadie family. Jimmy was a very close friend while growing up in our old neighborhood around 6th & Pike. He will always hold a special place in my heart. I am so very sorry for your loss. RIP Jimmy (Eggs)

With deepest regrets; we both started out as members of Local 77, AFM, as young pianists. He had a unique talent and certainly proved that any difficulty could be overcome.
