Not sure what to say?

What a wonderful tribute...to a larger than life man. I was fortunate to have met Jim's lovely wife Jerry, and at his daughter Cynthia's daughter. A very special couple and know they are together for eternity. With fondest thoughts to the Apostle Family

Jim and his wife Gerry were a wonderful couple. They were full of life and joy. They loved people and were always up for something fun. They were like family to me. I loved to stop by their Art and Framing Shop in Sudbury, Ma. to chat or look for a lovely piece of art for one of my design clients. They shared their warmth, hospitality and wisdom with me and taught me much about life and love. They were always encouraging and supportive and lots of fun! I loved how they bantered back and forth...

You are in our thoughts today as you celebrate Jim. It was always a pleasure to be in his company. Peace and good memories be with all of you now and in the days to come.

We will pray for peace and comfort for the entire Apostle family. But we will celebrate for Mr. Apostle's Christian victory! What a glorious Christmas is ahead for him!!! To Jim, Janet, and Tom...I will always remember and cherish the countless hours that we spent on the tennis courts until the lights went out. And your Dad was so much in the middle of it...having the time of his life! Heck, I think he invented trash talking!!! That should have been in the obit...Jim invented trash talking'....

So very sorry for your loss. I remember both Jim and Gerry. They were friends of my parents. What a grand life the had, filled with such joy and amazing experiences. There aren't too many couples that have that "IT" factor and they were absolutely one of them. Prayers to all for peace and comfort.

Jim Apostle was as fine a man as I've ever known. He was a man of service: to his country, his community, his church and more importantly, his family. His youngest son is now my son-in-law and he's of the same cloth as his father. May Jim rest in peace alongside his loving wife Gerry.
