Not sure what to say?

I will always remember Mr Armstrong as a caring and loving man I meet him in 1991 And loved him from that day on REST IN PEACE DEAR FRIEND

To the Armstrong family. It was good to reconnect with you after all of these years despite the circumstances. You have known me all of my life and it was indeed an honor to care for your father. I will cherish talks with him about the Civil Rights struggle. May the JOY of the LORD be your STRENGTH during this time of transition. Bondra G. Scales, RNC

My deepest sympathy to the Armstrong Family.
I had the opportunity to work with Mr. Armstrong as a volunteer at the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute. A true foot solider in the strugle. It was a pleasure to know him.

A legend from the Smithfield area has been granted reward. We are saddened by his loss, yet believe that he is now an "Angelic Foot Soldier". Blessings for peace and good will to his family and all of us who will miss his presence.

The Faulks Family (previously from Smithfield)

My thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief. May your memories bring you comfort.

To the Armstrong family from the family of the late Mr. Willie and Candus Smith. Our deepest condolences to your family in the death of Mr. Armstrong. Our family was so blessed to have known Mr. Armstrong during the days of Armstrong's Barber Shop on 8th Avenue North and the Civil Rights days. Praying for comfort as his legacy continues on through you.

It is my prayer that God will keep this family in His favor, as He has shown to your father.

Profound gratitude is expressed to God for the life and legacy of Mr. Armstrong and the enormous courage he displayed at crucial historic moments. Our prayers are offered for his family.
