My deepest sympathy to the Arnell family. Pastor Arnell was my beacon of light when I was away from my family and home church, Bethel A.M.E, in Mobile, Alabama when Rev. P.H. Lewis was pastor. He was followed by Rev. Bobby Cox. My grandmother, Odessa West, always called and made sure I was attending service specifically, an A.M.E church.I reassured her that I was attending the best A.M.E church in Montgomery. Dear Mrs. Arnell and Anethia. I am deeply saddened today in learning Rev. Arnell has passed. This is a very tough pill to swallow. Rev. Arnell was the catalyst in leading me to develop a much stronger relationship with GOD around 1994. I can never forget his valuable Christian advice. Rev Arnell was indeed the guide standing at my crossroads with his hand pointing in the direction for me to walk. I thanked GOD for him back then and I thank GOD for his beautiful life now.
