Mr. James Curtis Arrington, 62, of Roanoke, Va. and formerly of Moneta, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2010. He was born April 25, 1948, to the late Jack and Mae Ethel Arrington. Survivors include his ex-wife, Martha Arrington; two sons, Jack (Carmen) and Mark (Crystal), Arrington; brother, Freddie (Sadie) Arrington, of Moneta; two sisters, Leola F. Jackson and Jacqueline Goddard, both of Atlantic City, N.J.; three grandchildren; devoted friends, DonAmia McCoy and Pat; other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, 5 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
It saddened me when I learned last week of James' passing, from a friend of his. My condolences to his family and friends. James was a pleasant chap who I enjoyed seeing and talking with. I'll miss him but I'll see him in the next world.
