ARROWOOD, James "Jimmy" - Of Flint, age 53, died Monday, February 28, 2011 at Genesys Regional Medical Center. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2011 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Keith McKinnies officiating. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle. Jimmy was born in Jackson, Kentucky on January 8, 1958, and was a resident of Flint most of his life. Jimmy was employed at Grand Blanc Metal Fab for 23 years. He was a member of Calvary Apostolic Tabernacle. Jimmy loved rollerblading, riding motorcycles, fishing and watching cartoons with his grandkids and nephew. Surviving are parents, Charles and Joann Arrowood; sister, Sharon and husband George McGinnis; brother, Gary; three sons: Brian and wife Melissa, Christopher James and Tina Garcia and Jason Hazel and Mary Kousa; daughter, Jill and husband Mark Sanburn; seven grandchildren; niece Kim and husband Ben Handa; five great nephews; special friend, Mary Wolf. Charles, Joann, Sharion, Gary, Chris, Brian, and Whole Family, May GOD be with you at this very trying time in your life. I pray GOD puts a peace within you, and gives you comfort.
