James "Jim" Samuel Artz

I just in September heard of Mr. Artz passing and am very sorry to hear this news. Mr. Artz was a loved neighbor of ours in Prince William Estates and a great coach at Gar-Field. I dearly loved this man and always enjoyed seeing him when I ran into him, once at some restaurant in the Valley when he was having a meal with his family. Mr. Artz will always have a special place in my heart and I have very fond memories of Jimmy, Bobby, Patsy and Mitzi living as our neighbors with us. Rest well...

I was so sad to hear of Jim's passing. I worked with him at Gar-Field High School for many years. Not only was he a "funny" man, he was also one of the nicest people you could ever know. I will miss him.
