Not sure what to say?

Dr. Ash was a family friend, counselor and a source of strength. In addition to being the pastor of our church, he also worked with my mother at the University of Miami. When she passed, he traveled from California to be at the service and provide a comforting presence. He possessed a brilliant mind and kind soul. I will always think of him with the greatest respect and appreciation. My condolences to his family and loved ones.

I was a student of Dr. Ash's at the University of Miami, in his Religion and Current Issues course. I also helped with the music at the church he pastored, as a singer and sometimes conductor. Jim made a great contribution to the academic improvement of the University of Miami. We Honors alums will always be thankful for that. Condolences to the Ash family.

I am sorry to hear of Jimmy's passing. I also went to school with him at Bryan Adams HS and we graduated in 1963. I remember him as a very nice young man and very intelligent. God bless the family as they deal with Jimmy's passing.

I was very sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I was in 10th grade English with him many years ago at Bryan Adams High School. He obviously had a very sharp mind. I got to know his Dad since I serviced his piano for about 12 years in the 80s and early 90s.

My condolences to the Ash family.

Our deepest condolences, our hearts and prayers are with you all.
