Not sure what to say?

Monitor Asip' s spirit is alive in those who strive to be saintly. His martyrdom was noted and his dedication and tears for God's people are in the hearts of those he served. Daily 630 mass and sincere creative teaching for children were only a fraction of his contribution to society but gave tremendous positive energy to humanity in the concentric ripples of grace that reaches out eternally.

I add my voice to that of my brothers and sisters. Msgr Asip was a robust servant of God. He was and will always remain in my memory a priestÍs priest. A truly great man from a great generation. My family is blessed to call him one of our own.

Father Jim was a wonderful man. I am proud to be a member of his family (my mother is Virginia Lee, daughter of Lillian and Eugene).

I, too, add my sentiments and prayers to those of my siblings. Msgr. Asip was a treasured member of our family and, above all, a great priest who never missed an opportunity to exercise his ministry. We were very proud and grateful to be related to him.

I want to echo the sentiments of my sisters, Denise and Kirsten. The entire Crilly family is saddened to hear of the death of Msgr James Asip, especially saddened that we heard too late to attend his funeral Mass. He was a cousin of our grandmother, and an inspiration to all of us. I'm sure I owe my own priestly vocation in no small part to his influence.

My husband and I were so honored to have been married by my father's cousin, Monsignor Asip, on May 15,1982. I can only echo my sister Kirsten's words; what a great man. He was always a special part of our family. I will always appreciate his goodness to our late aunt, Sister Mary Crilly.

What a great man. He married my mom and dad. He married my siblings and or participated in the weddings. He participated in the funeral Masses for my father, Dr. Marc J. Crilly, my aunt, Sister Mary Crilly my grandmother Agnes Lynch Crilly and others. I'm so proud to have had him as a part of our family. He will be greatly missed.

You were and remain in my soul, and many others I imagine, a true and commanding Priest Of Christ Jesus; I thank God for your friendship with my parents. I thank you and honor you for your being instrumental in my life from the beginning...Tommy

We on the Little Sisters Golf committee have lost a treasured friend. May he rest in peace.
