Not sure what to say?

Jim and I had many good times together,
some of which he would prefer that I don't mention. That would be telling on myself. I will remember him always.

Rosemary, I know you know how much Jimmie meant to the four WHITE girls in West Monroe, La. We always just considered him part of our family. God certainly had a reason for him to be stationed at Selman Field in Monroe. We will miss his telephone calls and know we will see him again when we have a great reunion in Heaven with Marge, Tut, Mother and other beloveds. Even though I haven't seen him in a while, he will be greatly missed. We love you and hope we can keep in touch. (Ava White's...

Dear Rosemary,
I don't know if this will make it on the book or not. Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Jimmie was such a great part of the White family for so long. I remember meeting you both and listening to the stories that all 4 of the White girls have told over the years as well as my Mammaw Ava White about Jimmie and all of the things they did and went through. He was such a wonderful person and I know touched the lives of many many people over...

Condolences to the family for the loss of such a great man! He is now with our Lord, but those left behind will miss him tremendously.

Jim, Teresa, Jama; So glad I always check the obituaries or we would not have known about this. Please give us a call. Have already prayed. Sorry for the loss but rejoicing in knowing we will see him in Heaven one day.

My deepest sympathies to all of Jimmie's family. Sally Perry (Ava White's granddaughter, Dowee White Perry's daughter)

Easter Sunday early 40's in Monroe, La.

The two remaining White Girls first met Jimmie when he was stationed at Selman Field in Monroe, La back in the early 40's. He bacame a close friend during his life time, with many visits, reunions with us and another soldier, Chuck Hutchinson from California, and telephone calls. He was like part of the White family, and I will dearly miss our frequent telephone calls. He was so loved by my mother, that she chose him to be a pall bearer at her funeral in 1994.
Love to Rosemary and the...

Rosemary, Jim and Wayne,

So sorry to hear of Jimmie's passing. Your family was one of the solid respected cornerstones of Eighty Fifth Street Baptist. I had the privilege to serve with him as a Deacon as well. Heaven is a little sweet today with his presence. We will be remembering you all in prayer in the coming days with the transition you all are encountering. Please know you are all loved by so many.
