Not sure what to say?

You were one of the bright spots in my life and you left a legacy of love behind and a guiding light for me to follow in your footsteps. Your unconditional love and support meant the whole world to me and I'll forever be grateful for the lessons you taught me over my 23 years I could call you grandpa and occasionally "gimpa"! You were always the strongest of us and you always held us Bailard's together. Life will never be the same without you and I deeply miss you every day.
I promise...

Offering our sincere condolences. May the God of love comfort your heart and make you firm in your time of grief. 2 Thessalonians 2:16,17.

I am sorry to hear of Royle's passing. As a fellow teacher at Kettle Lake you could always count on his good cheer and support. My prayers go out for the Bailard family.

This world lost a giant of a man this week. Heaven regained another wonderful man of faith. He was the favorite teacher of all 3 of my children. God bless his family. You have such wonderful memories to cherish.

My condolences to the Bailard family. I fondly remember Royle as the "Gentle Giant" of Alaska Avenue on the school bus. A Christian man, indeed!

He made an impact on me as a shy 5th grader at Kettle Lake, had great rapport with students and there was no messing around in class. He made me learn the state capitals. You had to get them right to go out for recess. Loved hearing his voice at football games.

Blessed memories

This message is for the entire Bailard family.

While I only know Dan, I wanted to reach out to all of you and let you know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. If Dan is any indication of the type of person that Mr Bailard was. The world has certainly lost one of the greats. I am here for you if needed.

Mr. Bailard was one of my all time favorite teachers. Such a kind man who made a difficult year moving schools in 4th grade such a wonderful transition. You will surely be missed! Thoughts and prayers to the family.
