James Patrick Ball, 72, passed away July 3, 2022. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Cretu); Loving father of James Patrick Ball Jr (deceased) and Michelle Farmer (Geno, deceased); Cherished grandfather of Geno Farmer (Tabby), Jessica Farmer, James Patrick Ball III, and Tiffany Ball; Great-grandfather of Geno Farmer Jr and James Patrick Ball IV; Loving brother of Pat Holryds (Cliff), Walter Ball (Bernice)(both deceased), Thelma Comer (deceased) and Robert Ball (deceased)(Chris); Son of the late Walter and Alice Ball (nee Devine); Dear uncle and great-uncle to many nieces and nephews.

James was a generous and trusted friend to many. He loved and cared for many animals. Jim was a champion in every sport that he played: golf, darts, billiards and bowling where he rolled a 300 game. Music was a passion and everyone enjoyed his beautiful voice. Jim was a master mechanic and was able to figure out and fix just about anything.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 17, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until closing services at 5:00 p.m. at Fortuna Funeral Home, 7076 Brecksville Road, Independence, Ohio 44131. Interment private.
