I'm very sorry to hear of Jim's passing.
I knew Jim and Dorothy during my time with the Forentine Opera and Present Music.
No 2 people were more dedicated or more fun to work with. They will both be missed.

In the 2 1/2 years I've worked at the Glen Cafe where he came in to eat every day, I have grown to love him like a dad. He made my day as most days he was our first customer of the morning and he always made it a happy one! Your dad was a wonderful guy and he will be so missed! All of us at the Glen Cafe will be thinking of the entire family during this difficult time! Thank you Jim, for all the memories!

What a great guy he was! He was like a father to me and such a good friend. I am so fortunate to have spent time with Jim and what a wonderful legacy he has left with his amazing, diverse family!

I send my heartfelt sympathy to the entire Bamberger family as you mourn the loss of dear Jim. I also celebrate his amazing life with you.
When Jim and Dorothy's son, Jeff, married my sister, Janine, they made it their mission to adopt not only her, but our entire family as their own. From that time forward, we were included in their family events, birthdays, and especially, their sumptuous Thanksgiving dinners. Laughter was always on the menu, and Jim served up heaping helpings...
