I learned today of Jim's passing. Jim was a kind and selfless man. He was very special to the Pagones and Duffy family. We are all very sad to hear of his passing.

We were so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He was a dear friend of not only my parents but also our entire family. we have so many fond memories of Jim. He loved my sister's chocolate rum pie. She would make it a point to make an extra one for him on holidays and take it over to Hillcrest Terrace. We will all miss him. Love, The Popp Family

My Uncle Jim had two very important traits which made him successful in life...
A gentleman... Always willing to help or listen to people... Took the time to make people feel important...
Respect... Didn't matter where you came from or culture... If it was important to you, it was important to him...
Last, but not least, he would always
look-in on my mother (His Sister-In-Law)... She just couldn't get around a lot and he always made it point to stop-in and visit and bring that...

Jim was a giant among men, and one of the finest educators in Manchester. I worked often with Jim doing home visits for truants and disengaged students, always playing the good-cop/bad-cop schtick, intending to bring 'em back to school.

Jim was a wizard at that pursuit, a warm and compassionate man who could slide into a solemn-faced agent demanding compliance or promising an appearance before a judge - whenever the situation needed that role played.

Janice and Jamie, I grew up with your father on Cedar Street as kids and saw him many times in our adult lives too. He was a good man and I want to express my sympathy to you both. I knew your mother well too.
