Not sure what to say?

Sandy, I’m so sorry to hear about Jim. He was my dad’s best friend. I really missed seeing all you guys growing up. I remember you and Jimmy driving straight through from Ohio just to make sure you guys were there for my dad’s funeral. That’s when we left Pa. I miss you guys, all of you. I plan on moving back their soon. Jimmy was great. He always had a smile on his face. He will be missed greatly, he already is. Him and my dad are in Heaven raising hell together. My dad really...

I haven’t seen Jimmy in years. He was my dad’s best friend. I will never forget Jimmy and Sanda and their boys. I was only 12 when we left Pa. because that’s when my father passed, but I remember Jimmy and Sandy driving from Ohio, I think, straight through so he’d be there for my dad’s funeral. Jimmy and Sandy are very special people to me. They will always hold a special place in my heart. Sandy, I’m so sorry to hear about Jim. He was a great man and my dad’s best friend ever. I wish...

Uncle Pat

Sandy & Family,
I'm so Sorry to hear about Cousin Jimmy, he was such a Great Guy. Remembering all the times at Uncle John's & Aunt Elanor's, and working at Uncle Russell's with Jim. He'd always be busting on someone, In a Friendly way of Course. Sandy, you and the Boys are so wonderful, it's always a pleasure to see you guys, just wish it could be more often. Jimmy will truly be missed by everyone that he has come to know, but especially by the Family. No words can replace the Sorrow...

RIP BIG JIM. What can you say? Guy was a rock, he did it all. Best neighbor you could ever have. Was always there for me or any of my children, now or 32 years ago. Will be dearly, dearly missed. My deepest sympathy to Sandy and the entire Barber family. Mere words could never convey the utmost respect I had for Jim. This street will never be the same thats for sure. NOT yelling "yo Big Jim" as I'm coming and going or cutting the grass? Or chasing 1 or both of my young ones down the street,...

Jimmy and I had some good times on the job. I will miss his humor and digs. He had a way about him that brightened any room he walked into. I remember a trip we had taken to Washington, D.C. with a few other railroader Vietnam vets. I was in a lot of pain with a bad foot and Jimmy took me under his wing and was a great care giver. Rest In Peace Jim.
