Jim was a teammate, ASU football, good friend and a strong part of the App State football Brotherhood. Last time I saw him, his big smile, a shout "Hey, Jimbo" which he always called me, and he pulled his sleeve up to show off his Steelers tattoo. Dearly missed.

Coach Barnes was a nice and caring teacher at Rock Hill High School. He taught driver´s ed training when I attended back in the 80´s. He will be missed
