Not sure what to say?

Hello, friends and family of Jim Barnett. Yesterday, here in San Francisco, we held a memorial for Jim on his birthday. It was a beautiful day. We got together and celebrated Jim. I want to share the memorial video. In November 2020 Jim was doing well and feeling good. I'd just gotten a new camera so he and I wanted to do a little video project, filming his flamenco playing. It turned out to be Jim's final performance. Enjoy! We love you, Jim! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N5Yj3U5LGds

Missing the man who changed my life when he introduced me to his cousin, my husband, 33 years ago. RIP Jimmy

Brad and Jimmy performing together.

I will always remember and cherish Jimmy's devious smile with that twinkle in his eye -as seen in the photo above. Unfortunately, I can not make it to his service today, but when I return home from holiday I plan to play all his CDs and wear his T shirt, Songs for Children (if my memory is correct), and do my own personal memorial tribute in his honor. Our family was so pleased when my brother Brad met Jimmy (as second cousins), both exceptional musicians in the Bay Area...and our families...

We'll miss him. Here we are performing music together. Happy memories.

Jimmy was my classmate and long-time good friend. We spent childhood year on Balboa Island. Jimmy´s dad was our dentist. Great guy and so much fun to be around. We recently talked about attending the Army and Navy Academy 60th annual reunion in 2023 for our class of 1963. So sorry that we´ll miss him. Rest In Peace, dear friend.
