I’m sorry for this news. I always enjoyed Col. Barnhill, especially his grousing over the price of good Scotch when we all lived on Riggs Drive (if it came from his liquor cabinet). As I recall, he never bought any good Scotch however, only "cheap stuff". Any good Scotch at the Barnhill’s home was likely a gift from someone else – I base this on their own comments, my careful observations and strong suspicions (;-)).
