James Carlisle Barringer

Carl, a bigger than life person, even in his later years, greeted one and all with a smile and a keen sense of humor. He stood taller than most even in his wheeled chair. Sending my thoughts and prayers to the Barringer family during this difficult time. Carl was a pillar in our community and a good man. He lived a long, good life. He was blessed as he blessed others.

We will always remember being at St. Paul's Church when Cathy and Carl renewed their wedding vows - on their 50th wedding anniversary. They still had that twinkle in their eyes when they looked at each other and I thought then, and do now, that they were such role models for couples today. You are blessed, Cathy, to have known and given such love. Should we all be that blessed! Our hearts go out to you. With much love.
