Jim was the VP of Engineering when I started my engineering career at Clark in Battle Creek in May 1979. RIP Jim.

Sorry to hear of Jim's passing. I know the last few years of his life were difficult. I worked at the Melroe Company with Jim. Jim designed the first hydro-static drive for a skid steer loader. I was the first one to test drive this new machine with this drive. When i put the bucket in the ground and it dug a hole with this 'big bucket' Jim had a grin on his face that probably took 2 days to stop. He changed the skid-steer loader industry.
