Not sure what to say?

Dear Jean and family,
We were so sorry to hear of Mr. Bayless's passing. He was such a positive force. We admired him as a businessman and a client. Mr. Bayless was the most decisive client we've ever had. Once he made a decision he stuck with it! He is remembered fondly. Our condolences to you.

Aunt Jean, Christie, Craig and Joanie:
Our thoughts are with you. It is a very difficult time. It has been 5 1/2 years since my dad, your Uncle Roy, passed away. This past Wednesday my dad would have been 89. I hope to bring mom to your memorial. Linda Blower

Jean and family ~ We have good memories of your family. We did a lot of "babysitting" with Craig & Christy (not so much Joannie). Then Jim hired me to work at Dooly & Co. after school during high school. Craig & Christy were in our wedding in '53 - WOW! Hope we make it to "66 years". Our heartfelt condolences and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Fondly,

Jean, Craig, Christie and Families:

We are full of memories stretching back more than 60 years. It seems ironic that Jean called us only a day or two before Jim's passing to sweetly check on mom; and we were at the the Desert Braemar near Thunderbird, which Jim loved so much.

We have called both home numbers since we got back this weekend and saw the Oregonian, but know you are all pre-occupied and grieving; so we hope to see you on February 1 to offer our love and...

Ken and Esther Lampi send our condolances to you, Mrs. Bayless. We remember with great pride that you chose to fund a scholarship for our grandson, Ryan. It was a special evening and a pleasure to meet both you and Mr Bayless. God bless.

Craig and Christie,I am sorry to hear about the loss of your father. Thinking of you both and you have my sympathy.

Always sad to loose the really good guys.

To Jean, and other family members —
It is always sad news when a friend dies, even though it is one that I haven't been in touch with for years. I was taken by the notice that said that Jim died as he lived.
You may remember the times we shared those long years ago: bible study, dance club, Portland yacht Club,
I certainly do. bob weiss (from SoCal)

My condolences go out to Jim's family. I had the good fortune to work with Jim at Fred S. James nearly 30 years ago. He was a kind, decent gentleman and a great insurance man. His contributions to the Insurance Industry and elsewhere will live on and are greatly appreciated.
