Read More4 years ago, I met him as my 2nd grade teacher. I am heartbroken and I am sorry for your loss. He was the kindest, most compassionate teacher ever and he will remain in my heart for as long as I live.

Jim was a sweet man, I knew him from the rooms of recovery and was a guest in his home a couple times, he always made everyone around feel a part of. My heart broke when I heard the news. My heart goes out to Jim´s family.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Mr. Bearns was my first grade teacher. I'm now in 7th grade, and the amazing teaching of Mr. Bearns has made me who I am today. He helped me learn to read and write, and now I love to read. He was an outstanding teacher, and was a kind, loving, compassionate person.
