Not sure what to say?

I just found this looking over Overton High School graduates. My goodness I have known Jimmy since elementary school and played baseball with him at over in high school and Colonial Baptist. We used to run into each other every now and then and would always have a big laugh because we were usually on different sides of the fence. What a great guy and I'll see him in heaven!

I still miss him and think about him and his wisdom on numerous occasions. RIP Jim

I knew Jim way back when he was in law school and also when he worked as a clerk in criminal court. He was a wonderful person and I spent many an hour hanging out with him in the courthouse. Although I left Memphis in 1980, I made it a point to keep up with his career over the years. I know his dad, Judge Jim Beasley, Sr. had to have been immensely proud of him. I am sorry Jim departed this world so young, but I know he left the world a better place than he found it. My heart foes out...

Jimmy will be missed by so many friends and family. He was a true friend, and always such a caring individual. I will always cherish the years of going to school with him, and attending the same church too. He was a unique person, and will not be forgotten by those who loved him!!! God Bless you Libba, and your girls too.

Heartfelt sympathy to the family.
The Judge was a very honorable and talented man who impressed me greatly when I served on a jury (and as jury foreman) on a case in his courtroom. On later occasions, we were able to have more relaxed conversations. All honor to his name...

We loved Jim! He and Libba were in our Sunday School class at Independent Pres, in addition to being our Cordova neighbors. One could not hope to meet a more vivacious, life-loving couple! They were laughter and sunshine! May God comfort Libba and the girls as only HE can!

Our condolences to Libba and Jim's whole family. May Jim rest in peace for eternity. And may the Holy Spirit comfort all those who knew and loved Jim. Peace and Love Forever shall follow all the family and friends.
