Read MoreI knew Dr. Becker when he was a professor at TCC - I took a history class from him and found him to be tough but challenging as an instructor. We had many lively discussions and I will miss him. I had hoped to take another class from him. I used to love to see him driving that little BMW sports car of his. When he bought his house in Norfok, he was so delighted. He will be missed.

Dr. Becker was a very smart and compassionate man. I only knew him a short while, when he was minister to First United Methodist Church in Norfolk, but he and I became friends during that very brief time.
He will be sorely missed and fondly remembered.
