I wish we could express how we feel. We miss him. Jimmy was my partners best friend and over time became good one of mine. We spent hours and hours together doing the things that friends do. Now just a few weeks later, we still react with 'let's call Jimmy' and then realize, well we can't. We miss you.

I was shocked to learn of Jimmy's illness, and I am deeply saddened by his death. Jimmy was my freestyle, figures, and dance coach almost twenty years ago, way back when the Penguin Figure Skating Club was at the Ice Palace. I didn't start taking lessons until I was an adult, but with Jimmy's coaching, I won medals in my first two adult freestyle competitions. In fact, Jimmy was kind enough to lend me his own freestyle costume from his competition days!
Jimmy, I will never forget...

You always had something nice to say to my daughter even though she wasn't your student. Thank you for that, I appreciate it more than you will ever know.

Prayers for Jimmy's family and friends. When Val couldn't get a move through to me she always brought Jimmy over to try a different approach and of course...it worked ! :D He was truly a legend of the ice.

Jimmy and I were in the same class at the Ice Palace when I was about 14. I have fond memories of he and my cousin and I kidding around during free skating sessions on the weekends. Although I just about learned how to fall well, Jimmy went on to do really great things in Skating. I did not keep in touch with him over the years, but when I hear of his kindness, humor, and caring attitude for others, I am touched by the loss of him. My condolences to his family and friends.

Rest in peace Jimmy. You deserve nothing but the best where you are now. Lots of great times over the many years knowing you and the dedication to all the children and adults. It was an honor knowing such a good hearted guy!

Jimmy was by far the best skating coach I ever had the priviledge of learning from. Funny, easy-going & encouraging, he made it extra enjoyable. I'm sure he will be incredibly missed by many. Thoughts & prayers to his family & friends. God bless.
