I was so sad to hear of Jim's passing.. A truly lovely man and a good friend that Bruce will miss a great deal. Please accept my thoughts and prayers for Margo and the family.

I am privileged to say I knew Jim since January 1977 when I arrived at PNB as a new boy from South Africa. Our friendship was cemented when Jim was sent to London in 1985 and he and I sat on the Board of PNB's Merchant Bank. Everyone knows what a fine representative of PNB Jim was in the US but few know how he and Margo excelled themselves in London.

I first met Jim when I began my career at PNB in 1979. Although we never worked in the same department, the bank was small enough in those days that you could know everyone. I'll always remember the big send off party he got just before the bank sent him to London for several years. I believe it was 1986 and the party was in the basement cafeteria of the PNB Building.
