James Biddle

Jim was one of the kindest, most unassuming people I ever met. In the early 1980's, I was 19 years old and attending sessions of the Lima Area Woodcarvers. It was mainly a lot people much older than I was, but they all were very welcoming and Jim was one of my favorites. What a blessing Mr. B. has been in my life from the first day I met him , Judie and the girls as well as the ladies taking care of the Biddle's. Mr. B will always be a friend and a bother in Christ throughout eternity.

Judie, you and Jim were a team. Even before you worked for LTC, you were working with Jim to provide wonderful Christmas treats or plants for all of the combined OSU/LTC staff. After Jim, there wasn´t an OSU president that even acknowledged LTC. He was a kind, considerate, and admired man. We enjoyed visits to your house and Jim was always so friendly. My condolences to you Judie. Jim had a significant impact on me when I worked on campus. I appreciated his candor, authenticity, and honesty. I have the beautiful pelican he made, and I've often spoken of what he told me it represented: nurturing, wisdom, and generosity. The perfect representation of Jim. I'm grateful to have known him.

So sorry to hear about Jim's death. He was a great boss and a good friend of many years' standing. Judie, I am so sorry for your loss.
