Thankyou to everyone for your thoughts, prayers and letters. My dad was and always will be my hero. I will miss him for the rest of my days. A friend told me nobody is really gone until their forgotten so please don't ever forget him. I love you, dad!

Barbara.....I was so sad when George informed me that Jim had died. Next door has never been the same without the two of you (no, it was always at least 4 - one can't forget all the dogs). Jim always came through for me when I needed some work done around my house. I know he will be missed so very much by his loved ones and he will be truly missed by me.

Jami, Amy, and Carrie, I am so sorry for the loss of your dad. All the years you lived next door to us I will not forget. Your dad loved you all and enjoyed you as little girls. God love you and never forget your dad.

Jim was a great high school and Ferris friend. He was such a charmer! Once, when we were hitch hiking back to Ferris from Saginaw, he actually "charmed" a prize potato from a farmer in a bar. This potato was the size of a pumpkin. Jim made up a story about his family being in the potato business for many years and had never been able to grow one that size. He told the farmer that he would give anything if he could just show his family that huge potato. After a long pause, the farmer...
